2018 Tour de France The Excitement Builds
Save The Dates: Tour de Melbourne – Tour de Adelaide Social Rides

The excitement is building each day as the 2018 Tour de France start is fast approaching, this year’s tour is shaping up to be one of the best and closest Tour de France fields we’ve seen assembled in many years.

We are all pretty excited here at Ride International Tours, all of the established overall contenders have had a particularly varied preparation for this year’s Tour. We’ve not seen many of the contenders actually race against each other yet at the lead-up races to get an indication of their form, many of the up and coming contenders have shown fabulous form enroute to Saturday’s start. It’s going to be very interesting to see all the riders come together for the first time this season and battle over the vastly varied terrain of this years three week route.

The other good news just in – Chris Froome has been cleared by the UCI and WADA to race. The ASO / Tour de France has followed suit and will allow Chris to take to the start on Saturday. Bravo – Allez Chris

Tour de France

Stage 9 will finish in Roubaix after 15 sectors and 22km of cobbles. It’s going to shake this tour up before the race even gets to the Alps.
